Keto Meal Plans For Weight Loss – Burger Recipe

I have been asked many times about how to get started with keto and what are the Coles notes. I always respond with my motto which is the KISS Model: Keep it So Simple, I replaced another S word with ‘So’, to be able to post without using offensive language. But So still gets the point across, you could also use super 😉

I can’t stress this enough. I found that starting out doing a planned meal plan with known results was the key to doing keto successfully as I started on this journey and I want to share this with you as I know you too can benefit from a meal plan like this one. Keep reading to find out what this Keto Meal Plans For Weight Loss did for me, but also I’ve included her Portobello Bacon Beef Burger with her Special Sauce recipe below. It’s incredible!

Keep It Simple

Just keep it simple and don’t over complicate when starting out.

I often hear from people that keto can be overwhelming at first as there is a lot of information to learn and I can understand that because there are so many ways to do keto and depending on who you follow, you will hear or learn something different.

Off the top of my head, I can think of lazy keto, net carb, whole carbs, cyclical ketosis, carnivore ketosis, dairy or dairy-free and I know there are others that I am missing in this list. It’s hard to know as a newbie what you should be doing and following. I know when I started keto, I was alone and I didn’t even know where to start.

I was doing keto for 6 months and only lost 2 pounds, I now know that this wasn’t proper keto but at the time I just thought that the keto diet must not be for me. I almost quit until I can across Vanessa Spina’s, Ketogenic Girls 28 Day Accelerated Weight Loss Program, and at the time I didn’t know that this program would change my life.

My Success

Lyndsay Mullaney

I still remember the day I came across Vaness’s Instagram account. I was following a few keto folks at that time but I was not heavily in the community, I hadn’t realized at the time that this was an important step in the keto journey: follow social media accounts of keto people that inspire you. I happened to be at my quitting point and I posted a comment on her post and asked her if the program could be made into dairy-free. It was almost my last attempt to do keto.

She responded happily that her entire program was dairy-free and was a low inflammatory meal plan limiting nuts also. We started to chat on Instagram messenger and her confidence that I could lose at least 20 pounds (my first goal) was what led me to sign up as soon as I got home.

I signed up, grocery shopped that afternoon and started her program the very next day and I have not looked back. I believe my first day of meals were these amazing spinach and bacon egg muffins, vanilla chia pudding and a pork chop with a cucumber salad for dinner. I was in heaven by the end of the day.

Following a set-out meal plan made these incredibly easy for me starting out and then as the days past that I was following the meal plan, I was also researching keto and learning from other people doing the challenge beside me in a private Facebook group. I have always been very passionate about healthy food and the healing it can do for your body, that It inspired me to continue helping people on this journey.

Let’s fast-forward 18 months later, I sit here today having lost 40 lbs on Vanessa’s program, balanced my hormones, healed my adrenal fatigue, increased my energy and improved my skin drastically. In fact, I just returned from holidays, which I share on my recent post of a recipe for a Traditional Thai Coconut Ice Cream – recipe here, so I started her program over again last Thursday and I am already done 6 pounds.

The results are incredible and I would go as far to say guaranteed on her program if you follow it and avoid all products with hidden sugars and toxic oils.

The Food

You likely have noticed already from all the food posts and articles on the ketogenic diet that the food looks incredible! You are probably seeing lots of bacon, beef and butter and even desserts and we all know that those things taste delicious! And you are probably having the same thoughts as me “we can eat bacon and lose weight? Where do I sign up?”.

The 28 Day Accelerated Weight Loss Program is no different. The recipes are what sets it above other meal plans I have seen out there. You will see recipes for Shake’n Bake Chicken and it tastes exactly like the boxed stuff we all grew up on, Steak with Bearnaise sauce, Chicken Wings, Roasted Chicken Legs and for dessert, recipes like Chocolate Mint Chia Pudding, Chocolate Bar, Cinnamon Mug Cake, and Brownies.

The food is delicious on this meal plan and it uses a variety of foods outside of just the bacon, beef and butter.

Guaranteed Results

I have been following this meal plan alongside 2 of my girlfriends and we have all seen amazing results following it. In total the three of us have lost around 150 pounds collectively. Those are incredible results if you think about it and it was 100% from following the 28 Day Accelerated Meal Plan for Weight Loss.

Not only have the three of us had success but we are doing the challenge alongside thousands of others that are part of this private Facebook group and we see daily that people are dropping weight and meeting their goals. You see their posts and it is inspiring to keep going.

I can confidently say that if you follow this program, you will lose the weight, regain your health, improve your sleep, increase your energy and balance your hormones. You can read more about her program and sign up here:

  1. This blog is very interesting. I’m wondering if it will help with our slowed down metabolism as we get older.
I’m going to try your ketogenic portobello burger with special sauce for dinner tonight. I love portobello burgers but this sauce recipe sounds divine. The only thing I do different is not to fry bacon. I rather bake it so it doesn’t cook sitting in it’s own fat. It comes out crispier and not greasy.
I’m bookmarking this site as I know I’ll be back often.

    1. Thanks Karen!  you just made my night!  so glad you are going to try this recipe, please let me know how it goes! I agree with you on baking the bacon… it does come out super crispy and I am a personal fan of crispy bacon but my husband likes it less crispy, so I find the balance 🙂 – enjoy the recipe! ~ In good health, Lyndsay
